Now through August the gardens hold a one hour outdoor music performance every Monday night. A
wide range of musical styles will be featured, including classical, country, jazz, and opera.
Visitors should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Ok to bring food & beverage.
New this year: Each first Monday of the month, garden docents will host a 6:30p-7:30p tour of the many colorful and fragrant garden spaces before Music in the Gardens. Don’t miss this ...

| Music in the Gardens starts soon! |
Amarillo Botanical Gardens kicks off a summer of entertainment with their popular Music in the Gardens. Monday nights, June through August, the public is invited to come and take in the spectacular garden views, and then cap their evening off with an amazing outdoor concert in the amphitheater. Weekly performances will feature a wide range of musical styles, including classical, country, jazz, and opera. Visitors should bring their own lawn chairs, blankets and sunscreen.

| The 40th Annual Iris Show is Mother's Day, May 10. |
The North Plains Iris Society hosts their annual Mother’s Day Iris Show from 1:30-5p on Sunday, May 10. This juried event draws approximately 500 people every year. A wide variety of iris will be on display. The Gardens will also be open for visitors to tour as well. Admission is Free to the show and the gardens!

Saturday, May 2 from 10a-2p we will hold our annual outdoor GardenFest event. This popular event kicks off the spring gardening season and continues to grow each year with new offerings. Local garden clubs and businesses will sell plants and other garden & yard related products. The local Master Gardeners will offer fun and informative gardening demonstrations. Colorful totebags, notecards, puzzles and more are currently arriving at the gardens. The gift shop displays are full of great new spring items which will make a special gift for a friend or family member. Come enjoy the spring blooming bulbs and browse the gift shop.
