 The annual Hunt Dinner and Auction fast approaches! |
On November 7 the Annual Texas Hunt Dinner & Auction will be held at 6:30pm at the home of Jamie and Bobby Mansfield. This annual function is a major fall Friends of Amarillo Botanical Gardens event and continues to grow each year. A dinner of Texas beef tenderloin, quail and other wild game will be featured. $50 per person. Live music provided by Ed Montana. For more information call (806) 367-9777. Proceeds benefit the Botanical Gardens.

| Attention DayLily lovers! |
The Golden Spread Daylily Society will hold its annual daylily sale soon.
Saturday September 12, the Golden Spread Daylily Society will host their annual daylily sale at the botanical gardens. A wide variety of colors and sizes of lilies are available for $3 each. Sale hours are 9:00am -2:00pm or until sold out.

| It's the last month to enjoy Music in the Gardens! |
Every Monday night we offer a one hour outdoor music performance starting at 7:30pm. Gate opens at 7pm and closes at 9pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Ok to bring food & beverage. Performances will be held indoors in case of bad weather.
Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors (60+), and $2 for children ages 2-12. Free for members with a membership card.
Scheduled to perform in August: (subject to change).

| Attention Iris Lovers! |
Saturday, July 25 the North Plains Iris Society holds their annual iris rhizome sale at the botanical gardens. Hours are 8am-4:30pm, but they always sell out quickly so plan on coming early. After shopping, make sure to visit the gardens which are now bursting with summer color.

| Don't miss our Monday night outdoor music performances! |
Now through August the gardens hold a one hour outdoor music performance every Monday night. A
wide range of musical styles will be featured, including classical, country, jazz, and opera.
Visitors should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Ok to bring food & beverage.
New this year: Each first Monday of the month, garden docents will host a 6:30p-7:30p tour of the many colorful and fragrant garden spaces before Music in the Gardens. Don’t miss this ...
